Meet the Team

Amanda Akins
Owner/ Lead Designer
Amanda grew up in a small farming town in South Dakota. After meeting her husband James, it didn't take long for him to convince her to move to Oklahoma and in August 2013, they got married.
Prior to meeting James, Amanda had no experience with leather but was very talented in painting and design. James' dad, Jimmy, introduced Amanda to leatherwork and she quickly became intrigued. Her first project was a bible cover, and soon after, began making bull riding chaps for her husband James as his old pair were in dire need of replacing. Thus the start of her leather career.
When not creating at the shop, Amanda, enjoys being an active member in her local church, singing on the praise team and traveling with her husband James. Together, they have 2 fur-babies: A mini Australian Shepherd named Ruby and a big dopey Pyrenees mix named Panda Bear.
